Connections
Childhood Stroke &
Hemiplegia Connections is now a tax-exempt, non-profit organization.
Our mission is to improve the quality of life for children with cerebral
palsy caused by stroke or other neurological injury, first by creating awareness
among the community and health care professionals and second by providing
education, assistance and support to families affected by this unique
disability.
With your tax-deductible
donation we will be able to:
- Continue
to provide parents/caregivers with educational meetings and conferences,
pertinent educational materials and family events for valuable networking.
- Continue
to create awareness about these special children, not only locally but
nationwide and worldwide as we form alliances with HemiHelp in the United
Kingdom, the American
Heart Association and the American
Stroke Association and the National Stroke
Association.
- Continue
to provide researchers nationwide with participants for studies specific to
cerebral palsy and pediatric stroke.
- Continue
with our efforts to advocate on behalf of the families who are affected by
cerebral palsy and pediatric stroke.
Together we can make a difference in
the lives of these children and future generations.
